I'm not really sure if Kakashi powered up significantly at any point in part 1 of the manga
But this entire fight will take place in part 1.

Scenario 1. Kakashi from Zabuza Arc vs Part 1 Kabuto that fought Tsunade
Location: Tanzuku town (can move to Sannin Battle if it helps strategy for either one)
Restrictions: none
Intent: To kill

Scenario 2: Kakashi as he was directly before taking on Itachi the 1st time

Scenario 3: End of Part 1 Kakashi

Scenario 2 and scenario 3 Kakashi are pretty much the same so they beat Kabuto mid-high difficulty. Early part 1 Kakashi also wins but with high difficulty.
