I would infer that he would take no time at all and go for the oneshot, that's why I can see this stalemate happening.

Well they'd argue that since Susanoo and Yata are transparent Kamui would get him irregardless of those defenses.

They can argue that all they want, but Yata makes Kamui ineffective either way. Susano'o is also a solid object so he will have to Kamui it first.​

@AkatsukiChurch , Yata could block Kamui maybe, but that would only happen if Itachi is able to activate susano before Kakashi warps him...

Itachi can put up Susano faster than Kirin, but that works only on v2 susanoo... He has no feats of putting up complete susanoo faster than Kirin, in fact, it took a while for him to transform v2 susanoo into v3 (EDO itachi feats are not valid, he has no chakra limit)... So Kakashi definitely wins scenario 2.

Edit: I forgot to mention that Itachi needs v3 susanoo in order to use Yata mirror...

ya I agree. itachi with intel on kamui would put up susanoo and immediately go on the defensive. Hmm u have to elaborate more on the kamui having to warp susanoo first to get through. Also I do agree with yata rendering kamui useless. Owarij's thread while back convinced me that kamui was astral and that yata has the capabilities of blocking off astral attacks.

Itachi activated Susano'o before an already travelling Kirin hit him. There's really no proof that he can't activate a V3 Susano'o in such a little amount of time since activating Susano'o is just using Chakra to make it. He just uses up a bit more Chakra, not to mention he'll see Chakra building up in Kakashi's eye.

Either way, Dusk Crow Genjutsu puts Itachi under a Genjutsu before he even realizes what's going on and then this ends with a speedblitz and Kakashi's head rolling under his feet before he even realizes that he is in a Genjutsu or thinks about breaking out of it.​

Well I have been wondering about if itachi does indeed need to pull out full susanoo to use the items. However what do u think of this?

I can see itachi using just a susanoo limb to wield the yata mirror and another limb to yield the totsuka blade. Just speculation though.

1) Just a lil bit more chakra? The difference of power between v2 and v3 is big, Itachi would take more time to activate V3.

2) He will se the chakra building up on kakashi's eye? Kakashi's kamui works faster than Obito's sight, Itachi won't see it, or he will just see it but wont be able to react to it.

3) Itachi has no feat of putting v3 susanoo of an instant, so by MANGA FEATS, he can't put up yata faster than kakashi's kamui, maybe he could if we had seen more of his battles while he was alive, but sadly, that's not part of his feats, so forgive me for just following what manga says.

4) Crow genjutsu? Kakashi has knowledge of Itachi, he wouldn't fall for that, also dont forget Kakashi didn't get caught on Obito's genjutsu, a med level genjutsu wont work on him.
