Okay, let's get this started.

How is Hiruzen winning? Kakashi has the advantage on speed and is smarter. He has better taijutsu feats and can easely counter the elemental atacks.

Hiruzen gets casually stomped. He may have larger scale elemental jutsu, but it won't help when Kakashi can dodge them and get in close to capitalize on his massive speed and reflex advantage. From there, Hiruzen is vulnerable to getting outsped, Genjutsu'd, and more. Getting a few elementals definitely makes Hiruzen extremely versatile, but it isn't going to allow him to beat people that are this much above him.

The dude kept up with Tobirama in shunshin, mastered all five elements, is fending off an opponent the Gokage got merked too, and his experience dwarfs anyone on the field. Spiral Zetsu was literally making shit jokes at the Gokage and Hiruzen is the only one that can stand up to him bar Tobirama, Minato, Hashirama, Naruto, Madara, and Sasuke.

But to each his own.

What do you mean? I never said Hiruzen was shit as a character. I just never wanked on him as much as I do Ebisu or Tobirama. Edo Hiruzen is being portrayed to be above the Gokage right now.
