Well I'd still give it to Gaara as long as he can create more sand from the ground. It would be a tough battle though Kakashi has a lot of tricks up his sleeve and he is very fast. Lightning chain and raikiri blade are all deadly attacks which may devestate Gaara's defense.

If the battle drags on than Kakashi's chances of defeating Gaara grow slimmer.

The mole no jutsu isn't simply wait underground and be crushed. The user can go anywhere he wants.

Anyway gaara never killed anyone with his sand.people think he can spam huge scale as he want like when he was in Sunagakure and had shukaku to boost.More he use more sand more he's exhausted.Now a huge sand jutsu exhaust him,we saw in this war how he's limitted.Otherwize he'd burry Madara,Muu,2rd Mizukage but no he's limitted.A doton underground can let escape Deidara froman explosion that erased a whole forrest,it's not some sand that will get him underground while he's abe to move deeper and in any direction.

Raiton penetration jutsu are above Gaara's sand.
Suiton jutsu will trouble Gaara .
Gaara's speed is suicide to fight somoene as fast,versatile and smart like Kakashi.
Kakashi's speed can outmatch his sand to get close to him.
gaara ahs nothing to predict,see or counter kamui.

Look again my pics when he fought Itachi and look how quickly he not only hide underground but came directly to attack Itachi the second after. Like you show on your pic, Gaaras technique takes time. At that time, Kakashi would already be on him
