Kakashi loses when Gai openes his 8 gates
I agree but Gai can't open all the 8 gates because if he opened the 8 gate then he'll die after the fight or a small period of time. Its actually the wrong SECTION not forum

Kakashi loses when Gai openes his 8 gates
mmmhh kisame and gai had face each other twice . So i think kisame will die by the hands of gaidid you see his fight vs kisame when he opened 6 gates? He got really strong but in like 2 minutes he already looked exhausted. That power detariorates too i guess.
And kakashi can open gates too.
So i guess kakashi...
kakashi wasn't prepared that time he said in their next encounteror remember when itachi fougth kakashi for the firts time itachi put kakashi thru the sharigun illusion so easy and gai came a save him
i woder if gai vs any sharigun user gai has the upper hand
Okay 1. Gai cannot counter the sharingan, the sharingans illusion techniques are better/stronger when the looker looks directly into the sharingan (zabuza arc) however kakashi can implement genjutsu without the user looking into his eye, many genjutus are made without the requirement of looking into the users eyes, it just so happens itachis MS technique requires it, however standard genjutsu can be cast looking or not looking into the casters eye.
Anyone remembering the chuunin exam when kabuto genjutsu'd most people to sleep?
I suppose the 10,000 people were all looking into his eye eh?
2.Okay now we know genjutsu can be cast by kakashi without gai looking at him, and the fact that gai cannot use genjutsu or ninjutsu and doesnt have chakra control of those specific attacks, it is easy to predict that he cant dispel genjutsu or ninjutsu either, meaning any of kakashis genjutsu will be permanently affecting Gai
3.Gates shmates, kakashi is much faster nowadays, the information most are speaking of was when kakashi had trouble climing that mountain and could only fire off 3 chidoris, now we know he can fire off 6+ raikiris, and spatially reconfigure raikiri into a wolf, and use his Mangekyou 3 times in succession (though he dies).
He has a much larger chakra reserver nowadays and is a lot faster.
4.Kakashi makes black holes, and can aim them properly now, he even got rid of a ROCKET which is fast moving and SMALL, kakashis aim has gotten brilliant compared to deidara arc, as such if gai becomes problematic, poof, Gai is gone, end of story.
Gai is strong, but only having taijutsu is just problematic when he faces most other ninjas of excellent quality.
Gai was VERY lucky to get kisame as an opponent, considering any other opponent would be using all manners of genjutsu and ninjutsu, whereas kisame is a brutal fighting style ninja, waving his sword around and supplementing his fights with ninjutsu, most ninjas use ninjutsu and supplement blocks and parrys with taijutsu.
And he still needed to open 6-7 gates to own kisame at 30%!
Kakashi would definitely win
True. Most people seem to have forgotten that summon by Gai. I would rep you for the reminder but it says I need to distribute it more before doing this again...Yeah but Gai can use ninjutsu.
He jsut doesnt want to use it in front of Lee. Because Lee cannot.
Long time ago in part 1 before the chunin exams, when Sasuke met Lee for the first time, Lee was supervised by Gais summone - the turtle.
I think if Gai already knows summoning technique, which is pretty hard to learn (only top ninjas have their summonings) then he definitaly knows other ninjutsu.
I am not interested in comparing skills between the two so I am skipping rest of your post. Just wanted to point out one thing- Every genjutsu user seems to have their own style of genjutsu and the way to use it.Okay 1.
