Darui has always been a far weaker version of Kakashi. Less fast, less smart, less versatile, less complete, less haxxed... and really by much. Things like Sharingan and MS enlarged the wide gap in base skills and jutsu arsenal. Darui is still a really strong and skilled mother****er, anyway.

Wow so many who distrust darui strength... I mean I agree that kakashi wins, but it would be a difficult match. Darui has mad sword skills, lightning jutsu, water jutsu, storm jutsu (which Kakashi can't copy) not to mention the black thunder jutsu. And he has almost as good of analyzing skills. I just think he would give up a frell of a fight.

Black thunder is featless(or lacking good feats), kakashi has superior lightning techs, and water techs.
Storm jutsu is copy able since it isn't kkg.
Not to mention there's still his clone game, superior analytics, etc....

Kakashi shits on him with Sharingan or not. He is faster, more versatile, smarter, better ninjutsu arsena, trickery, and by much, basically he is better in everything bar chakra/stamina (and every Shippuden version of Kakashi is better here too). Sharingan with precognition, genjutsu, copying or MS with Kamui hax are just overkill. Comparing Darui to Kakashi just because he has a lazy attitude, similar hair style and fighting skills (Raiton, Suiton, taijutsu/ninjutsu combo, intellect) that can remotely rememeber him is so wrong.
