I think that if Kakashi was involved in this intel, he didn't figure it out until VERY recently. Otherwise he would have told Naruto, Bee, and Gai so that they could use it to their advantage.

But his Mangekyo is not the same as Obito's... That's like saying Sasuke should know all about Kotoamatsukami just because he knows how to use Amaterasu, they are different things..

Amaterasu and K.A are 2 different techs. Anyone who had shisui's eyes could use KA ^_^.

I believe that you are right.... kakashi must have been training and figured out that his limitations were 5 minutes. Then him using his brain realized that him having the same eye that it was also him limitations.

They may not have the same technique however, they do have the same eye so regardless or the technique that each eye posses, they must have the same limit's.

That's the only plausible way to describe it really. The only other person that we have seen notice it was Konan...

Kakashi doesn't have intangibility yet so he wouldn't know the 5 min limit, also I don't think he's tried to use Kaumi non stop for 5 mins. I think it's just more unexplained nonsense by Kishi, no need to make excuse for him.
