Kakashi didn't have a choice, Itachi did. Itachi chose his path, Kakashi just ran into it. I'd say Kakashi had it worse because he couldn't choose another alternative, even with Obito in his current state now(anime). It's rough having to fight someone you modeled your life around (him frequently being late now, and teaching Naruto and company the important of helping old people and the motto Obito taught him). He was a hero in Kakashi's eyes and now he had to fight him? crazy

Because Uchiha's who have that much badness in their life usually turn evil like Madara and Obito. He means since Kakashi isn't an Uchiha it was a lot more easier for him compared to an Uchiha that wen through his pain to stay good.

Obito saved Kakashi not only physically, but emotionally as well. Kakashi was permanently changed by Obito's sacrifice, embracing Obito A ideals as his own, then passing those ideals on to his students.
He's an admirable character that never took that sacrifice for granted.
