Most of the people on the base already know that Kakashi is my favourite character, but for the sake of the manga, he should die, and i really hope he will die. We are already at the end of the manga anyway. It's better for him to die now as a hero(at least it's what i think). He already did a great job during this war, fighting the strongest swordsmen in Kirgakure's history, multiple Bijuus, Gedo Mazo, Obito and Madara by helding his own pretty well against the laters.
So if Kakashi dies now, i won't mind. But if he doesn't die, this manga is destinated to go to hell. Like i've already said in one of my latest threads, i lost hope in this manga. My last hope were Madara and Obito since Sasuke definitely turned good(another stupid idea from Kishimoto). But Madara is a pathetic joke. The guy prepares a plan to become Juubi's Jinchuriki over 20years, but when he sees Hashirama, he forget the plan and loses his senses? People are trying to destroy your whole-life plan and you only sit there watching?
I start to question myself, what was the purpose of this war? Who are the villains? What is the threat? Curiously i can't find an answer, and when you can't find an answer to this when we talk about a manga supposed to be close to its end, there is a problem somewhere
Reason why my last hope is on Obito, eventhough himself is a bad villain. From the moment i saw that it was Obito under the mask, i knew he would make a bad villain and it did happen unfortunately, but at least, if he doesn't get tnj'd by Kakashi, kills him, becomes Juubi's Jinchuriki(which was the goal of this war), it would make things more interesting. I still remember the Tobi who was called darkness by Konan, the harbringer of disaster by Minato, and when you look at it currently, it seems we are talking about 2different persons. The new Tobi seems like a little crybaby who lost a toy(his beloved Rin). I know that the way it goes, it probably won't happen, especially after Kakashi's speech towards him, but deeply in my heart, i hope i'm wrong...
This one time, Bogard, I can't agree with you.
1. Obito himself stated Rin was NOT the reason he started this war.
2. Masked Tobi might have been seen as a different person, but I think it's largely due to the fact that his face was obscured. Apart from recent TNJ that Obito tried to use on Kakashi, all of his actions, motives and attitude are the same as when he had a mask on his face. We can just see it now, so it's not the same impression anymore.
3. Kakashi should actually win against Obito, which would be his character development and would also symbolize him overcoming his past and what has been a burden to him ever since the beginning of a series.
