I mean he is had enough,he has been in a death situation (pain arc),spent most time in d hospital bcos he overused his sharigan. the little time he had he spent it at rin and obito's tomb....he got his sharigan stolen.and he wants to die but kishi says no live on. he is pretty much useless in this fight....even sakura is doing something. so if kishi is going to keep kakashi alive he has to find him a good power up ,make him less useless

I'd have been perfectly fine with Kakashi dying. How many of the older generation has been put out of the way?
Asuma's dead, his lover retired to have a kid, Jyraiya's dead, Orochimaru defected, Gai is out of commission, so on and so forth.

Would make no sense if he did. He's been dead, close to death, has been saved, has been specifically told NOT to die. It would be repetitive to see him die again. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if he died, but it would have no good outcome on the manga. He's most likely just gonna be a mentor for the older generation. I would like if he got another power-up, but I'm not sure how he'll get one. The only thing I can think of is Minato teaching him Hiraishin, like he already should have, and make Kakashi an OP mofo.
