A few minutes ago I just finished rereading 636. Kakashi's monologue is so powerful. It made me realize how much I like him as a character. I want him to stay in the manga to the end. So please, don't die.

It wasn't out of the blue, Obito reminds him of Naruto

If he can make it back to the battlefield, Sakura should be able to heal him via Katsuya. I don't think he used too much chakra against Obito, and the wound looked like it was more to his shoulder than to a vital area.

Plus, I think Kishi would want his death to have more of an impact. Right now, the previous Hokage are back, the current Kage and Orochimaru are on their way to the battlefield, and Madara is about to sacrifice Obito (or something) in order to become the Jubi's jinchuriki. There's just too much going on for Kakashi's death to make an impact (especially if he is stuck in the other dimension). Plus, I would expect Team 7 to be affected by his death, but it just doesn't seem right for him to die right now. We will see though.

Ya and that was stated during their last little encounter in 629. It felt very redundant to see it again.

Substance less. That's it. I mean if there was a big one page panel of young obito and Naruto smiling the message would be just as legit. Not this "Never lose your way" and "Keep Obito alive" stuff. Was I the only one who felt that was a little off?

one of naruto's sensei's already died (RIP you beautiful pervert ) for naruto's progress.
now there is a possibility that kakashi might die because he see's how obito turned out to be as is mistake (to redeem himself and to prevent anyone els from getting hurt) so he might kill himself and take obito with him.
but there is also another possibility, obito see's something becomes a good guy (probably a naruto talk nu jutsu), does one last good move and kakashi won't have to fight obito to the death to stop him (seems to me like this is how it will go down, at least i hope so).
