[Predictions] kakashi or gai will die in tobi fight

I think one of two things are going to happen to gai and kakashi.

1. Gai will die protecting the others in some way and say something or make it seem like gai won the final competition and kakashi will start visiting the memorial stone for gai as well. Plus, he will hold guy in regard as a great shinobi.

2. Kakashi will die trying to fight and it will seem that he has won the final competition and gai will live forever admiring kakashi and admit that his rival has surpassed them

Obviously i don't know this for sure but I think it would be a really good way for their rivalry to be settled and would probably give naruto alot of inspiration for his rivalry with sasuke (and be sad of course)

let me know what you think and this is just a general idea.

i hope kakashi die because when the team 7 reunite he said that zetsu sasuke and madara how would i take them down he totally forget about naruto and how naruto become strong

It will be sometime b4 every shinobi in the army gets there and once the battle really starts heating up with tobi vs naruto who knows what could happen. tobi might see himself losing and try to attck one of the weaker shinobi near by in the hopes of gaining an advantage. Or maybe tobi will be strong enough to keep everyone preoccupied. Plus like the person above me said if gai uses 8th gate he will die.

To be honest I have no clue exactly how it would work out because i'm not Kishi but i do think this would be a good way to end their rivalry and a plausibke scenario

kakashi ~ ...yeah ..and u too were like a son to him lee ..... He has proven that one doesnt need to have mastery over ninjutsu or genjutsu to become a good shinobi ......but one must have faith in himself and his frnds & spirit to bear any pain for the sake of frnds !!
u know .....the biggest thing learned from him is that

I don't really see how guy is essential he is more of a comediac type of character with battle skills. His only real value is with Lee and kakashi and like the person earlier suggested this could be ended by showing the two visiting his grave. the plot could easily go on without him. Plus, there will probably be a time skip or end to the series coming after the war.

While I'm not necessarily saying that it's going to happen, I think Gai's death would be appropriate out of any. One should expect casualties within the semi-nucleic character base in any "war" and Gai, while being "semi-nucleic" is not so much so that his death would create any incontrovertible plot-quakes. His eighth gate would be a perfect "last-ditch effort" and would come with its obvious corollary. Plus, with his fixation on "youth" he would be able to die young.

Again, I'm not saying it's going to happen, just saying that it very well COULD and would, in my opinion, be one of the foremost potentialities in terms of logicality.

I doubt either of them will die ... or if they do die they will be brought back to life somehow. Tbh, when Kakashi died way back when, it was fitting in a sense. But to have him die a second time wouldn't work as well.

I believe that neither of them will die but because so many of the other ninjas are coming to go help some of them will more than likely be hurt or killed during the escalated fight. but there is also the chance that Naruto will ask the other shinobi not to enter the fight so this might not happen.
