well stil new here so i though i would post my first thread. who do you think is stronger kakashi or gaara i think kakashi would win because his lightning can pierce through his sand and since kamui sucked up deidaras explosion it could suck up gaara and his sand with him. kakashi could go under ground and pop up right under gaara if he did a sand tsunami. plus he has trained his sharingan well he can use for days in the war and still have energy. well wat do you guys think?

i did not want to explain because everything i will say will be countered by kamui..so basically, i cant explain how gaara wins..but i sure hope he does..or someone els might find a way for gaara to counter kamui..but i'm sure i have no idea how. except maybe to put piles of sand infront of him to keep kakashi from useing it on his head or something..plus he can fly. so maybe some sand coffin to keep him from going underground and then sousou? or will kakashi's raikiri go through the sand..if so then kakashi wins. =/

Sigh...I agree with you dude, but it seems to be the latest thing.
Gaara would win this IMO.
If Kakashi went underground Gaara would crush him while he is under ground. Gaara can turn the minerals in the soil into sand and would just continue to bury Kakashi further underground until he can't escape...
Kamui: It would hit Gaara's sand shield and warp that...Gaara would be safe from harm. Kakashi can only do this a few times and while he is doing it, Gaara would use his sand shield and while Kakashi is trying to warp him, Gaara would use sand coffin...Game over
Of course, this is one of the many ways that Gaara could win the fight...I say Gaara wins because Gaara has more than one method of victory whereas Kakashi appears to only have Kamui as his single chance to win.
Lightning would not cut through his sand...it managed it once and now Gaara is aware of Chidori. When Sasuke uses Chidori Blade on Gaara, his sand blocks it.

Kakashi wins this imo. He might not have great stamina but he works usually finds a way to preserve his chakra when he really needs it. His intelligence is above Gaara and to the people saying Gaara can fly...Gaara doesn't fly when he fights an opponent on ground. just saying.

Good reasoning...and I actually dunno who seems to be smarter these days...Gaara has shown a lot of promise in that department lately.
You are correct though, Gaara only fought in the sky because he wanted to keep the fight away from the village and because Deidara could fly.

remember sand clones can just turn back into the offensive attacking sand. so i think gaara can outsmart and capture kakashi in a sand prison

Id like to say Kakashi even without kamui, I believe he is simply a better and more experienced shinobi.
