Haku had stockholm syndrime he was Zabuza's toolbox kids are fair game. I think Kakashi wanted to capture Sasuke because he punched him into a wall instead of stabbing him. Kakashi could've ended sasuke and obito with raikiri.
The Rin thing might be something we'll have to deal with. Yes, Kakashi changed from mission mission mission after Obito told him his father had it right not abandoning friends but there's something to all that duty stuff. I won't deny Kakashi has made a lot of poor choices and set into motion a lot of the plot due to it. He even admitted to Sakura and Naruto he lied to them and led them on, making them continue to have faith in Sasuke.
