kakashi mangekyou sharingan

I've seen alot of Threads about this recently so i thought of this.

Maybe he unlocked his Mangekyou sharingan when he killed rin.(Alot have said this)

The reason we haven't seen it till part two.

Well we know that Kakashi has held great grief for not being able to keep his promise to obitio and his MAngekyo was a symbol of him not protecting rin so he couldn't bear to use it in part one. Till at some point (that will be explained later) he came to the realization that he couldn't let the past keep him from use this great power and could protect his current bonds using his tainted power.

True but i don't see too many plausible ways to go from where we are now in the story.

I like how you described it as a tainted power but he did not know of the mangekyos at the time so there was a very different mind set for him and he did not due it for the mangekyo itself if he really is the the one that killed rin it and he also had the sharingan implanted recently i believe is after learning what the mangekeyo he comes to grips with what happened and it allows him to awaken the dormant ability

no its already been confirmed that he didnt unlock/start using tell naruto shippuden.

I'm not saying he did it for the mangekyo but you don't need to know how to get it to get it he could have just figured out that it happen after he killed rin and connected the dots...but I could also she what you are saying in the last sentence. great thought.

Also he could have just said that because he deiced to use it during part two. Not that he unlocked it during that part.

It's possible, but veeery unlikely. My guess is that Kakashi's Mangekyo has something to do with Obito's actions

he probably never used it because it used up to much chakra or he didn't know how to use it or didn't want to
