Ok so Kakashi definitely had years I'm his open eye (not just the rain on his face) so I think that either he just went nuts taking out some ninja and then rin was stupid and snuck up on him..... Or he was under a genjutsu and attacked her by accident and then realized it was her. Idk but I say great chapter from kishi

Madara must have something to do with it and if he does, I hope Obito realize it was Madara's fault and turn back on him.

For some reason everybody wants to think that Kakashi was under control when he killed rin or it was an accident. I really doubt Kakashi was under control, it looked like he killed her deliberately and even though he was crying, he still had that look in his eyes like he did something that had to be done. I think it's more likely that rin was under control or leaking information or something like that. Also as many people have pointed out its pretty obvious that Madara schemed the whole thing
