Kishi also made it possible for kakashi to be even competing with Obito when all logic says he can't.Obito should have fodderized Kakashi along time ago, but Kishi doesn't want to conclude the fight with the obvious.There is no way Kakashi can compete with someone who gave Minato a hard time before finally being defeated.

Obito has always been a step behind kakashi, if not for his kamui and I see kakashi has gotten better at using it as well. Manga doesn't lie in a 1 vs 1 we all see how obito has been pawned and if kakashi had gone for the head shot and didn't hesitate Obito would have been done for.

and that is the fact kakashi is the only one who has complete chance against jiubi
kakashi can counter all jiubi's attack by going to the other dimension
kakashi can beat jiubi by kamui to his neck

This ridiculous underestimation has to stop now; when Kakashi warped Naruto so fast that Obito was not able to comprehend a body had just been warped right in front of him, or when Kakashi was able to warp himself in an exhausted state, those feats should've made it obvious that he's one of the strongest shinobi of all time.

Kakashi has been this strong for a good while. And yes, he spanked the Akatasuki leader. The manga has moved on folks.
