Kakashi is still really useful. And I wouldn't say he's becoming fodder considering that he can spam the shit out of Kamui for some unknown reason now. But, since he can go into the other dimension as Obito can now, can't he have people phase right through him just like Obito?

But, keeping it simple, yeah you're right, obito is probably going to die, especially if his plan fails. Its not like he's going to want to live in the real world anyway... so maybe obito living would be a worse fate for him. honestly, i dont think kakashi is all that interested in the other eye. Yeah.. rewatching DBZ can be hard at times just because of the villain progression. Honestly, it had to be done this way to set the standard for the mangas we have now
