The movie was considered the best of "Phase 1" of The Avengers, not including The Avengers itself.

Anyway, I think you'd find a lot of people disagreeing with you on that. However, everyone feels differently about certain movies, and it's extremely subjective and opinion-based.

Captain America was my favorite hero before the movies came out, and I personally like Evans as an actor. It's all good though, we're all entitled to our own opinions.
