Kakashi, in the past, used this awesome strategy (imo), where he casted mindcontrol type of genjutsu on the opponent.
The opponent wouldnt be aware of it and feel like he was in control of himself, choosing jutsus himself.

Like vs Zabuza:
Kakashi casted mindcontrol type of genjutsu on zabuza, making zabuza choose jutsus like the water dragon. This allowed kakashi to execute it at the same time.

Zabuza was like wtf!!? How can he execute jutsus at the same time? He is suppose to watch it first and than memorize it.
Than haku explained this some chapters later, how kakashi had tricked zabuza.

He implanted thoughts in zabuza's head as well, and finished his lines.
Making it seem as if kakashi could mindread.

He was messing with zabuza his head.

Why did kakashi never use this strategy again after this battle?
Opponents became to good?

It reminds me of shisui btw, controlling people without them noticing.

Yes, I think you're right in saying that his opponents have become to skilled to be fooled by such a simple trick. Also, performing the same jutsu against opponents wouldn't always work...

- Itachi- a Sharingan genjutsu master
- Kakuzu- 5hearts combo(so no 1vs1), too much experimented, he even fought Hashirama
- Pain- Rinnengan>Sharingan, and it was 1vs2
- Tobi- Sharingan master who can even control Bijuus like Kyubi, and he even has Rinnengan now

So where do you think he could have been able to do the same strategy like against Zabuza?

its just the sharingon allows him to read zabuzas moves and he copyed the jutsu he was about to do to counter act it

please reread the chapter again. Especially the part with haku getting involved as well. Zabuza will explain how haku figured out that it was a mind trick.

Kakashi never put Zabuza under genjutsu. It was because of Kakashi's Sharingan that he could read/predict Zabuza's movements before Zabuza could execute his jutsu and read his lips thus allowing him to make Zabuza believe Kakashi was able to read his mind.

I just re-read the pages and he did put Zabuza under genjutsu--hypnotic Genjutsu that is. I was wrong too but, hey, it's been years.

his strategy only can work with help and back up from other ninjas .. minato had a one on one plan
