Kakashi only in war relied much on the MS, he spammed kamui like nothing and was nearly blind when madara ripped his sharingan.
Obito was able to use kamui constantly because his body is made half out of hashiramacells, the same reason why danzo was able to use izanagi so many times and was able to shorten the interval of Kotoamatsukami.
Hashiramacells are making the sharingan more effective.
