While I find that to be a plot hole as the edos are dead and thus they should have no distinguishable smell, you used this to counter a Kage Bunshin. Kage Bunshins all smell the same as far as I know, so this would not work.

That matters little. The Sharingan seems to be on a whole other level in terms of genjutsu, seen when Orochimaru was caught easily by Itachi, even when the databook gives him a 5 in genjutsu
Kakashi has a 4.5 in taijutsu while Hiruzen has 5 this makes him slightly superior in CQC, plus Enma can make surprise attacks by emerging from the staff.
That is base Kakashi, and the Kage Summit Kakashi, since that is when the third book was made. THe current Kakashi should be way above the Kakashi whom was rated there.
Also, do not forget that Kakashi has the sharingan and a solid mastery of it. A 0.5 -HYPOTHETICAL- difference won't do much when Sasuke, a 3.5 speed shinobi was keeping up with a V1 Raikage due to his sharingan.
Hiruzen as a 5 in intelligence, plus has years and years of experience he won't be fooled easily.
While he may have 5 in INT, Kakashi is the one regarded as a skilled and tactical genius. Hiruzen has no such claims to his name. He is noted as extremely skilled but his tactics were never praised.
Either way Kakashi won't escape from a draw due to Reaper Death Seal

Anyway, Hiruzen was able to use it because Orochimaru did not know of that jutsu. Kakashi, however, should know of it, seeing as how he was there when the 3rd used it and that is how his sensei died.
Even if he would not, Hiruzen needs to be in meleeish range for that to work.
Hiruzen knows of his limitations that's why he will finish quickly or use Reaper Death Seal.
Yet Shikifuujin requires the following signs:
Snake → Boar → Ram → Rabbit → Dog → Rat → Bird → Horse → Snake → Clap Hands
Which is a lot when fighting Kakashi.
My verdict is this: You have both brought good arguments for your shinobi and I learned a couple new things - I never knew Hiruzen was in the databook, for example.
However, given Kakashi's plethora of feats and jutsus, his sharingan, his superior nature transformations which counter Hiruzen's perfectly and the fact that he is simply younger and has a better stamina, I will give this to Kakashi.
You are both good debaters and I would place you on equal grounds, however Izuna Kakashi Senju wins in my book since he was slightly better.
