Kakashi got his MS from the death of Team Minato

We all know that in order to unlock MS a sharingan user must lose who is closest to him. In the real world there is no limit as to how many people you can be close with. My point is not only the death of Obito, but the death of Minato and Rin as well is what helped Kakashi unlock his MS because those were the three people who were the closest to him.

This doesn't explain why it's awakening would be delayed for so long after their deaths and his sense of loss. I thought the awakening of the MS was instant. I don't think it's like the MS the others weild and this obviously needs to be explained.

the awakening of the mygokyo sharingan make no sense.in fact i dnt think you actually need to lose someone closs to you cos i think that part of itachis lies,as we all no itachi mygokyo sharingan was already active before the age of 10 and shisui was still alive...infact i think only the uchihas that have surpass the usage of sharingan get mygokyo sharingan...meaning sassuke will get one eventually ...and kakashi master more than a 1000 jutsu with it bcos he is a genius and get the mygokyo but danzou didnt

We do not know when Rin died and we do not know when he unlocked his MS. Just because he did not use his MS until part 2 does not mean he unlocked it in part 2. Besides there were no real threats in part 1 that would prompt him to use it anyway. And where in the manga states that the MS automatically activates after the loss of a close one.

I still think Obito awakened his ms after Madara's death or what ever reason it could be and since their eyes are linked, Kakashi automatically awakened it as well.
Since Obito is the one who awakened it himself, Kakashi didn't notice he had it until the ''time skip''.

i agree with you, besides that kakashi stated himself in his second encounter with itachi that he ''wasn't'' prepared last time.. And RIGHT AFTERWARDS he said something like: '' itachi, how far has your eyesight deteriorated''. It all stands up here:

read up till page 10. I think what kakashi was trying to say, he didn't expected that so he could not prepare himself to counter a MS technique that fast. Afterall, he was right on time to the rescue of asuma and kurenai.

I think Kakashi always had the MS. He just never knew how to use it until he experienced it first hand by Itachi. Why i think he always had it is because I think Obito awakened his MS and since the eyes are linked, both MS eyes were awakened.
