I gotcha, the joke at the end just seemed ill/dark humored.

But, Kakashi and Obito do need some sort of closure. I just think with the way the manga is headed it's not going to be bloody. Besides, Kakashi has a reason to live where Obito is losing his purpose. Someone from team Minato has to carry on and deliver Obito's "Those who don't value their friends are worse than trash" speech =D

I agree with you. Kakashi will sacrifice himself to make an opening for Narusuke to drop some wild attack on him. I also agree that Kishi had hinted to it when he told us the story between Kakashi and his dad and their relationship.

Kakashi isn't killing himself. Now that Obito already lost i think it's safe to say that Kakashi wont be dying.

Obito will still have the ability to phase, making him too difficult to kill without some outside help. Kakashi is the only one who will be able to prevent him from melting away and end up in both Obito and Kakashi eating Narusuke's attack and dying.

If you mean that he kill himself to take down a vilain or save the Shinobi world then yes but if you mean kill himself for nothing that will not contribute Naruto and the Shinobi world then no.
