I think he would be beat at either 4 or 5. If he does somehow figure out a way to beat Kakuzu which is highly unlikely Sasori and Kankuro would own him.

Kakuzu only wins if he is aware of kamui even then its hard... the two puppet masters woud be hard for kakashi multiple targets would get in the way ..

What intel does he have? His opponents? Mindset? Kakashi is a scenario-heavy character.

Those who say Kakuzu are crazy. Kakashi mentioned he could have dealt with him back then with kamui when his proficiency with the jutsu was quite poor. Current Kakashi should have no problem to finish him off especially with the full knowledge he already has when the opponent still has no knowledge on kamui, a jutsu even faster than Obito's. Tbh i think he could make his run until he gets defeated at 7. Danzo alone is a threat because of his Izanagi and i doubt Kakashi would be able to pressure him long enough to maintain the jutsu over and over besides Kamui which is limited(maybe usage of clones would be good but in coordinated attacks), adding his kotoamatsukami and i definitely don't see him winning, adding Hiruzen and Chiyo makes it an overkill match-up

^yes i know i was suprised too see kakuzu as well but if kakuzu has intel his keen intellect and experience could allow him to find a counter .. without yes he gets stomped .. and no back then even with kamui he would of lost.. either due to him draining his chakra .. or due to the fact it took long for him to utilize the kamui back then kakuzu could of easily dodged it

Nvm databook ranks Deidara's speed above Kakuzu's.

Kakashi's accuracy has only improved since then.
