Story takes place in Konha three days before Minito's death.
After Rin and Obito's deaths.

(Kakashi walks into Minito's office)
Minito: We decided to name him after the hero in Jiriya sensei's book.
(Hiruzen smiles with as he looks apon the children playing ninja in the village)
Kakashi: Sensei may I talk to you?
Minito: Sure Kakashi what is it?
Hiruzen: Why don't i leave you two alone.
Minito: So?
Kakashi: I've been thinking about Obito and Rin. I allowed Rin to die and broke my promise to Obito. Everyone I care about has been taken away from me. Thats why I come to you asking to promise me that you will never die on me Minito Sensei.
Minito: I'm sorry you feel that way Kakashi. I promise you that i wont die. I will die of old age I swear it. Kakashi if I break this promise I want you to promise me something.
Kakashi: Huh? What is it?
Minito: Promise me that you will be my son's sensei and you don't allow him to die.
Teach him how to be a strong ninja just like you Kakashi.
Kakashi: I swear it Minito sensei. Naruto will not be harmed while he is in my care.
