Why in the hell didn't Kakashi Chidori Obito through the stomach?!?! Obito could be dead by now. But no, he would rather punch him in the gut, not ONCE, but TWO times!!

He could have just as easily turned that fist into a Chidori...

Like really bro? You just cost people lives and possibly your only chance of winning this fight. Amateur mistake...

VERY LATE, but I know right im still confused and pissed off towards why he didnt Chidori him, maybe he reserved chakra to get out of the dimension

Kishi has his reasons, Obito still has a part to play, besides, whoever wants this fight to end quickly? This legendary battle should continue for long. Current Kakashi bosses over current Obito for sometime....lol

The chakra that Kuruma gave to Kakashi is just enough to transport Kakahsi back using Kamui. Remember that Kakashi can only use Raikiri 3 to 5 times in his normal state. At that time Kakashi is worn out. So Kuruma gave Him Cakra just to transport back.

Well, what do you expect, he is a main character. Kishi wont kill him just that. Also that time is not the right time for Kakashi to die. He did a lot of things so that the story will be okay. If he dies, he deserves to have an epic dying scene.

So everything that's not understood immediately and holds a deeper meaning is a plothole?Seems legit.

OT:At that point the Juubi hasn't been revived yet and Obito hasn't gone nuts trying to wipe out the whole alliance.
Kakashi was shocked,but I think he still believed that he could stop Obito without having to kill him.Don't forget that for Kakashi Obito was his best friend,a hero and the man who inspired him to create his "nindo".It's very likely that he just wanted to turn him on the good side again.
