Yeah. I don't know. I have not gotten a clear answer on this my self but if you ask me he did. How he will get him back? Obito convinced by plot no jutsu guess.

Well than good bye naruto because kakashi cant take things out just put them in. Obito doesnt seem like the type to just pull someone who just slap him in the face with a rasangan out of a pocket dimension he controls

Well some say that its in front of killer bee because of this page it shows 2 naruto's one in front of kakashi one in front of bee

That would mean Madara is dumb or blind or his vision is .... and he needs glasses

Other says he is in the Kamui dimension !

That would mean somehow he is going out of there because of Kakashi maybe he can do it somehow ? or Obito will return him because Madara needs the nine tails !

Im pretty sure that was a clone ..

in this picture below you can see that the real Naruto that went to cover is making bijuu-dama and the clone Naruto is making Rasengan. Kakashi then warps the clone into the other dimension.

If he knew about both of them then he would reply in plural, not singular when he said "this one is a clone". meaning, he didnt know about the real naruto hiding in front of Bee for cover
