According to Minato ..
Kakashi was originally just like everyone else (with feelings towards his teammates) , but that all changed when his father Hatake Sakumo comitted suicide .

So I'm assuming that he did take the Bell training , but he was so emotionally affected by his fathers' death to the point that his personality and attitude changed almost completely .

the OP must not recall how Kakashi was to Obito is exactly how both Sasuke & Orochimaru were to Naruto & Jiraiya respectibely. All had a superior attitude and looked down on their fellow teammate and all had the bell training

having a superiority complex doesn't mean you didn't go through the bell training.

I actually do believe he received bell training.

Why?
Even though it wasn't shown let me explain.

Sandaime gave the bell training to Orocihmaru, Tsunade, Jiraya.
Jiraya was the teacher of Nidaime and whoever was in his team, therefore he gave them the bell training.
Later, Minato was the master of Kakashi team and gave them the bell training but only that Obito didn't have it. That's how Kakashi would've known about it.
And in the end, Kakashi have the bell training to Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke and test their team-worked based on the bell training he had himself, his lack of team-work with Obito and the life experience he got afterwards.

It fits perfectly.

Hiruzen -> Jiraiya -> Minato -> Kakashi -> Naruto. :)

Arrogance knows no bounds. Some people just take longer to learn to work as a team than others.
I wouldn't say young Kakashi or Sasuke and other such arrogant shinobi had problems working as a team had only their teammates did what they were supposed to do. Gotta admit Obito was a big screw up. totally unrealiable back then in the face of danger. that's enough to fustrate anyone and bring criticism...had they had teammates who performed at as high a level as them or at the very least a competant level there would have been very little team work issues
