Completely false. The reason Madara could copy those wood jutsu is because they require hand signs. He saw them enough to remember them and once he had Hashi's DNA he could use them. Since Susanoo requires no hand seals or movements, he couldn't copy it.

Dude, that makes it that much easier to copy because it's based off the sharingan also that does not matter because there are many techniques that require no hand seals that Kakashi copied like the rasengan you just got to know how it works and meet the other requirements as well. Susanoo is chakra forming into a humanoid and probably linked to the emotions of the user. Kakashi admitted that Rasengan was the outer limit of what he could copy. Technically one could argue that the chakra exertion could be what Kakashi was tracking and copying. Susanoo is no way near the same realm of technique as Rasengan so that is not a valid argument to make considering Rasengan was the hardest thing he could copy.
