looks like you have to change the part about the mangekyou sharingan. it's turns out kakashi is not so much of a genius after all having unlocked at 13 and not even mastering it when 30.

Like i've said on another topic, it seems like he didn't even knew he had MS at that time. It's the exact same thing that happened with Sasuke for example. He already awoke his Sharingan at 7, but couldn't awake it again until 13 or 14 simply because he didn't realised it back then. Kakashi directly fell on the floor after awaking his MS, and you can't see your own eye, so he couldn't know at that time he already had it. Probably, Kakashi didn't even knew there was a upgrade form of 3tomoe sharingan since it's almost unknown apart from Uchihas. So if he thought that 3tomoe was the summum of the Sharingan, he probably didn't care about training harder and improving his eyes abilities. Even Sasuke from the Uchiha clan never knew there was a level above 3tomoe, and that's why he was surprised when he saw Itachis MS the first time, and asked to his father if it exist another version of Sharingan. So Kakashi who is not Uchiha, who doesn't even have access to the Uchiha tablett could not know such a thing. When he fought Itachi in part1, it's probably at that moment that he realised there was a level above, and decided to train(his databook even implies that) and it's during the skiptime that he awoke his MS and finally mastered it
