Itachi was sick,his stamina and chakra reserves must have dropped.
And I always believed that Kakashi had big chakra reserves but the sharingan takes more chakra than in an ordinary Uchiha due to the fact that Kakashi's body is not Uchiha made.Imo that's why he is drained faster and can't move after a while.....

Yes, Kakashi has larger chakra reserves but depletes quickly because of the Sharingan activation, ninjutsu use and certain flexible dodge or dash like movements. If Itachi didn't have a sickness, then maybe he wouldn't have died so quickly and it will end up as:

Hardly. He has at the very least naruto, itachi, madara, minato, and gaara above him. Maybe even orochimaru, sasuke, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd hokages, 3rd raikage, A, killer bee, muu, 3rd kazekage, sasori, tsunade, jiraiya, and mei. Actually, definately half of those. So no, kakashi is not logically in the top five.

The databook was made when Itachi was sick. I also think Kishi gave Itachi such a low score to make him and Jiraiyas' stats equal.
