[Discussion] Kakashi and the Dimension trick ( Kamui )

Kakashi get it how to hit Tobi..
But im wondering about how the Kunai did hit Tobi

and here it goes threw Tobi and then he kicked it to Naruto

and then Kakshi uses Kamui to save Naruto

so the Kunai wasnt going to hit Tobi anymore, and it shoudnt do it in the ohter dimenson too where it go´s because of Kamui.
Now..how did the Kunai hit Tobi ?

By the Rasengan Kakashi got the right timing, he uses Kamui right before Tobi was hit by it.

Thats because Naruto was always trying to hit him with his extended puch so he materialized while kakashi was sending the kunai in the next dimension. Somehow it managed to scratch his mask in the next dimension. Leading kakashi to come up with his hypothesis
