Is it going to be a filler fodder with the strongest genjutsu?

I'd larughed out loud if Kakashi has to call Naruto to finish a fight he started.

Power has nothing to do with character depth / development. Kakashi is one of the best written characters

As a matter of fact I would say that he is, only if you take into consideration the Kakashi filler arc. Till that moment, he seemed quite one dimensional to me. Kishi had left out all the inner turmoil he had to go through and presented him in a very different way. Till the moment I've watched this arc, I've never realized what Kakashi had to go through, in the manga it was never visible until the moment Tobi unmasked himself.

Kakashi became bad ass only because of Obito Lol

Ever since part 1, he has been cool. The best sensei, the most understanding one, his back story is great, his reason for wanting to excel, his father's story, his history with. Obito and Rin , his friendshipwwith Gai , his excellence all have been top notch

Good stuff!

@Bold: I have a feeling this is the first fight Gai was referring to in the epilogue. Its probably gonna be depicted as a flash back since the novels are set after the war.

Pretty much. Without his sharingan, could Kakashi even keep up with Gai or Asuma? I think not.

Kakashi was a genius since childhood, joining the Anbu when he was a kid.

He created one of the most prevalent jutsus in the series as well.

The Sharingan completed him, but he is already badass without it, also he is the only with the signature look of a Ninja.

That adds to his coolness in my opinion

Nice catch.Yeah thats probably the one they are talking about

Best sensei?Hardly.Kept focusing in the genius on his team.Underestimated Naruto.Partly because of him Sasuke went astray as he failed to keep a proper watch on him after he got the curse mark. His friendship with Gai is good though and he is also very smart.

Actually, he's the worst. Why? Because he taught Sasuke the chidori while playing favorites. Then Sasuke left, Naruto was passed on to Jiraiya, and Sakura was passed onto Tsunade. Yes, there were some great fights and moments between the teams, but he wasn't the one training them to become stronger. The Sannin were.

I think he focused on Sasuke because he saw himself in him. Sasuke also has the Sharingan so he could easily learn Kakashi's style.

I'll admit Kakashi was cool in Part 1, but I take issue with your other statements.

Kakashi was not the best sensei. He's the worst. Look at the job of a Jonin sensei and compare to how Kakashi executed that function. Leaf Jonin are given 3 genin with different strengths and weakness (basically 3 solos acts) and told to make them work together. Did Kakashi do that? No. Asuma did for the Ino-Shika-Cho, Guy did for his taijutsu only team and presumably Kurenai did for Team 8 (since Team 8 operated autonomously without her throughout Part 2). Sasuke, Naruto and Tsunade are all the students of the Sannin more than they are of Kakashi.

I have reserved feelings on how far Kakashi understood anyone. He didn't understand Sasuke, he wrote Naruto off, and didn't really consider Sakura.

Kakashi was so laid back that I don't really recall his having any inclanation to excel. He was talented and just seemed to take it easy most of the time. Being Hokage was never on his mind, so it's not like he was working to succeed his master (Minato) or anyone else.

Kakashi does have a tragic backstory with his father Sakumo, Obito and Rin, but we never really get in to those things. When Tobi was revealed to be Obito. All of a sudden all of Kakashi's doubts and resolve spill to the surface. He said he wanted to work hard to prevent losing comrades but he could never keep his word. He just sort of went through the motions of life as they came.

His friendship with Gai is great. We need more KakaGai. More KakaYama would be nice too.

Kakashi was a genius since childhood, joining the Anbu when he was a kid.

The Sharingan completed him, but he is already badass without it, also he is the only with the signature look of a Ninja.

Kakshi's over-reliance on the sharingan was his downfall. Yes he created the chidori, but Minato quickly discerned the flaws it in. Had Obito not seemingly kicked the bucket and offered Kakashi one of his sharingan, Kakashi would never have been able to safely use chidori/raikiri and the variants throughout his career.
