They will probably get a cloak from naruto with sage chakra they will either be used in diversionary tactics or they will get blasted after they get a few strikes then be rendered useless but i highly doubt that whole team seven thing was for nothing i really dont believe they are going to do nothing

If Kishi makes her fight Madara, and she doesn't end up dead, Madara's rank will significantly decrease, and that is not a good thing for the ultimate villain when you are writing a shounen... The same with Kakashi.

Unless they develop some epic power ups, It doesn't make any sense for both of them to fight Madara.

The cloak did not Help Shikamaru life it was Naruto and Tsunade. Madara is using Natural energy. Naruto's cloak is Normal Chakra Sakura can't handle Natural Energy so the cloak is normal Energy.

The guy was demolished by Gai and is cut in half floating around dimensions without skipping a beat. What is any kind of additional hit going to do at this point?

Whatever mechanism Kishi finally uses to put Madara under will have to be something unique/unknown, or everyone will be calling bulls#!$ on the chapter.
