Think about it if Sasori used his massive poison needles attacks kakashi would just use his earth style wall jutsu to block of his needles while Gai use his gates to destroy Hiruko puppet. When the hiruko puppet is destroy kakashi would know where is chakara source is due to his sharigan so he would command Gai to keep Sasori at bay while he finishes him with his lightening blade. The End lmao

Sasori is not shit lol although I dont really like him as a character matter of fact all the puppet masters in the show like Chiyo bassama, Kankaru and Sasori to me is kinda lame and cheapy. I just dont like puppeteers they suck but Sasori is strong and yeah kakashi or Gai cannot defeat him on there own they need each other help cause Gai only uses Taijutsu which can be at a disadvantage due to Sasori long range abilities and Kakashi stamina and chakara source is so limited and low that he may not last that long against sasori xd
