Well, Sasuke has the feat of overpowering/binding(using the same genjutsu Itachi did) Orochimaru in his own world during the body swap. Kakashi only saw through his genjutsu right and released it. Besides didn't itachi say you can't fool someone with the same eyes.

Sasuke never used a binding genjutsu on oro like itachi did (in fact idk what he did there but it wasn't genjutsu)

Having the same eyes doesn't mean kakashi can't overlay his genjutsu on manda and or cancel sasuke's genjutsu on manda.

Gai isn't taking out Naruto anyways. That was a 30% clone of Itachi don't even mention that in Kakashi favor at all when 3tomoe Sasuke can dodge and counter attack someone as fast as v1 Ei[

That's fair but the likely hood of him needing Manda to actually defeat Kakashi is only needed if he's trying to go for the quick kill.

Not if Naruto engages Gai using his clones. Hirudora can only wipe Naruto clones out if there at a distance and all right next to him which won't be possible when Naruto will send his clones at Gai to attack him from a 360 while the real Naruto can use his Transformation tech to disguise himself as a tree or a rock while Gai simply fights clones. Gai can't stay in 7gates no longer than 7 or 8mins so he won't be dodging anything for long.

Gai has to be the most wanked char of all time. You'd think after all that BS Evani sprouted in that last thread and got owned he would have learned his lesson but na. I don't think Naruto can stop Gai attacking Sasuke but while he's doing that Naruto KM clones rape 3tomoe Kakashi. Once Gai uses Hirudora he'll be drained and 7th gate will wear off pretty quickly after and Naruto cleans him up.

In terms of raw movement speed Gai is either as fast as or slower than Naruto. If Gai rushes Naruto and tries to initiate CQC all Naruto creates distance and then creates clones. Please don't cite the feat against Madara as some kind of evidence here when the feat is when he was pushing Madara back, which isn't because of raw movement speed. It's because of his reflexes and striking speed combined with his movement speed.

So yes, if Naruto stupidly tries to engage Gai in CQC then he dies in a matter of seconds. If he plays smart then he has a chance.

Uh, no. :lol This plan assumes that Naruto waited till the last minute to intercept Gai instead of simply doing the smart thing and rushing Gai the moment he tries to rush Sasuke. The match starts from 40m away. Good luck arguing that Gai will cross that and reach Sasuke's position without Naruto stopping him. Not to mention Sasuke would survive Asa Kujaku w/ Curse Mark Level 2's wings.
