If kakashi gets another sharingan, i guess he will die.. we know that since he is not an uchiha his sharingan is activated all the times so only he close's that eye and uses another normal eye to see.. And also we already saw kakshi getting depeleted of chakra very soon after using MS.. it cost him his life.. so what will happen if he uses 2 sharingans..!!! :erm:

Well, the idea behind the rennigan eye is: maybe that eye won't deplete a non-Uchihas' chakra reserves, in the sense that an EMS or rennigan eye won't go blind...

And another work around for having the second Obito eye is: have it placed on his body elsewhere; such as his arm--etc.

If all else fails: keep eyes covered up until necessary; if all comrades around are not heard from/died, THEN pull out the eyes; while being "blind" (covered up eyes) ones senses are increased (hearing/sensory ability), which further his ability when seeing his target (case they blind him temporally/cause mist--etc)
