Brrr, prety cold out here... or should I say cool?
Anyway, Kaito's Taijutsu, recently rewamped, is a series of often Ninjutsu-enhanced techniques. It's fairly useful, especially now that a significant amount of chakra cost-less techniques have been added. Using Taijutsu is always pretty risky in our RP. Getting close means having less time to react to an attack and you open up for a lot of short-ranged techniques to be used by both sides. That's why using chakra cost-less Taijutsu alongside Normal Ninjutsu is important; you want to keep the pressure up in short range, if you want to go there. Everyone has different fighting styles, but that rarely changes.
We'll go through the techniques in pairs, two at a time, and you'll tell me a bit about your impression of the techniques and ask any questions you might have. Sounds fair? Then let's get to it:
( Toppyoushimonai Okane ) - Crazy Monkey
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: Crazy monkey is a form of Chinese martial arts. It is an aerial attack where the user jumps to head height and double kicks the target in the chest with enough strength to break bones, reminiscent of a monkey.
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user jumps into the air and performs a front flip, kicking the target three times during the maneuver. Each successive kick is lower than its predecessor, but equally powerful.
C-Ranks first and chakra cost-less to boot, which often translates to being relatively simple in structure. What do you think?
I remember that brief convo we had on Skype where you mentioned that you preferred Tai without a Chakra cost, lol, and now I can see why. It's nice to see that NB Tai has some diversity, cause I originally thought it was only Taijutsu with Elemental Chakra thrown in. But from the look of these techniques they expand the user's physical basis for close quarters engagements, without taking up one's Chakra flow, leaving them free to utilize it whilst they perform these physical actions. Like you said, being able to perform Taijutsu w/o Chakra, and Ninjutsu at the same time allows you to keep the pressure on the opponent in short range, which is cool.
Anyway, the first technique. This is rather obvious, but I imagine it looks like it was taken straight out of Mortal Kombat, lol.

While it's the first technique in the list, and probably one of the most basic, I kind of like it, as a starting point that is. I can easily see myself using the physical aspect of the technique, even though it's limited to Short Range, to charge directly at my opponent with frontal assault. This is all the more deadly if I've removed my Leg Weights beforehand, since the kick will be almost twice as strong with the +20 from removing the Weights, and the fact that I'm within Short Range of my target at twice my normal speed, is a very basic, yet still "powerful" (To me that is, lol) combo, without expending a single point of Chakra. First impression? I think I'm going to enjoy this unique field of Taijutsu. No questions. *_*
Second technique is somewhat similar to the first, with the difference being that the user is attacking three different places on the target's body, not just the upper torso. The "leaping into the air" part, for both techniques now that I think about it, could be a problem though, because if one is forced to try and dodge an opponent's technique, it's harder for most people to do while in the air. Impression of this technique is the same as the first technique, as they both have similar traits. No questions about this one either.

Being simple and costing no chakra to use are significant advantages. Techniques that consist of too many separate actions or go into minute detail are either self-defeating or simply too stifling for adaptable usage. The following two techniques are of the same variety:
( Kyuuki Ashige ) - Crane Kick
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user positions themselves in the crane stance, lifting one knee to its maximum height while holding both arms parallel to the ground. In this stance the user is able to deliver powerful kicks with their raised leg.
( Marui Sumai Ashige ) - Round House Kick
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user pivots on one foot and swings their leg, delivering a powerful roundhouse kick to the target. The power of the kick is enough to send most opponents flying.
