[Question] Kaidou question(I swear this one's different)

So Kaidou was beat 7 times but captured 18? How do those numbers work out? I would understand being defeated more than being captured as you could run after losing but how in mathematics can you be captured more times than being defeated?

Might've let himself be captured. Or he was captured without an actual fight due to negligence/ not gaf

Its weird but I guess its not illogical.

Maybe he was hit with some sleeping gas more times than he's been defeated in battle.

He probably gave himself up just so that they could kill him. Similar to what Roger did, he wasn't defeated, he gave himself up.
