From his appearance, he has demon horns(which could be a horned race like Moriah and Avalo), a Japanese rope sash, yakuza like tattoos and a Chinese/mongol mustache.
Kaidou is NOT immortal. He is just super tough and resilient. It was never said that Kaidou cant DIE. Just that he cant be KILLED because no one has the power to make Kaidou kick the bucket. Not even Kaidou himself.
"The Strong Live and the Weak Die" and Kaidou has suffered many failures in his life. He was defeated and captured numerous times.
Also, in the scan above, every time he meant to be executed, the execution blades simply shattered further hinted Kaidou insane durability.
Suicide is the ACTION and invincibility is the TRIGGER. Kaidou tries to deal with his invincibility by killing himself instead of trying to deal with the invincibility itself. Kaidou is angry, frustrated and desperate so he is just irrational with his actions but its understandable. Your life is defined by the legacy you leave behind but for Kaidou, there is no legacy. There is no end, no purpose, no meaning and no reason in life for Kaidou. Every beginning has an end. Kaidou just has a track record of failures and what kind of end is that? Because of this, Kaidou tried to kill himself numerous times but was unsuccessful.
Kaidou also has some connection to WB.
Kaidou is jealous of WB because he had such a glorious death. Kaidou challenged WB many times and even though he lost, even the great WB was unable to kill him. However, since WB was the strongest man alive, Kaidou saw no other way for him to die and when WB was killed, Kaidou at a lost.
It was then that Kaidou decided that he needs a war so intense and massive, that it is capable of killing him. Thats why Kaidou is so desperate to create a SMILE army in preparation of his global war and glorious death.
I think the key to defeating Kaidou is Chopper and Caesar.
Chopper has the human human fruit and all humans are vulnerable. Not only is Kaidou invincible, Kaidou may seek out Chopper for his DF so that he can obtain his ability, possibility become human and less resiliant and die(Some of Chopper's forms are more resilient than others). However, Kaidou cant kill Chopper but how about making Human Human Fruit SMILE? Who can make Smile? Caesar Clown.
