[Theory] Kaidou and his DF

Lots of people have different theories on what his fruit could actually be. I'll explain to you why it's not a Lion or Chimera or anything close. His power is most definitely the Hito Hito no Mi : Model Typhon.

He's supposedly the strongest creature on the planet. Among mythical creatures there's only one I can think of which was ever confirmed to be the strongest within the world according to the people who believed in their existence.

The Typhon.

Kaidou is the captain of his crew : so obviously he will have authority over his subordinates. He is shown to care for his subordinates in a supposedly similar way to Newgate and his commanders : a Father to child relationship.

Typhon was a father to many mythical creatures: the list includes:
-Orthrus
-Sphinx
-Nemean Lion (which could be his first mates devil fruit)
-Cerberus
-Ladon
-Hydra
-Chimera

A little bit of history about Typhon to show his feats:

Typhon started destroying cities and hurling mountains in a fit of rage. All of the gods of Olympus fled to their home. Only Zeus stood firm, and the battle raged, ending when Zeus threw one hundred well aimed lightning bolts on top of Typhon, trapping him.

Hurling mountains. Allow that to sink in... Hurling mountains.

Why am I only talking about Greek mythology and nothing else? Well if you think about it... Punk Hazard and Dressrosa are quite Greek themed.

Punk Hazard is like the Underworld within ancient Greek mythology:
A water body in the center. The ruler of Punk Hazard , Caesar had a Lab which he regarded to be something like a palace. Hades the God of the Underworld had a palace:

Dressrosa just genuinely looks like a Mediterranean nations such as Italy (presented by the Corida Colosseum and the gladiators inside)

All these themes lead me to believe that Kaidou will possess a Greek themed devil fruit (Typhon).

So what? What's so great and overpowering about the Typhon?

Here's a brief description!

The largest and most fearsome of all creatures. His human upper half reached as high as the stars, and his hands reached east and west. Instead of a human head, a hundred dragon heads erupted from his neck and shoulders with even more dragon heads replacing the fingers on his hands, His bottom half consisted of gigantic viper coils that could reach the top of his head when stretched out and being covered in wings.

Powers:
IMO He will be about as big as Oz when transformed. Too big to fly ; however his wings serve another purpose.
-Typhon can flash fire from his eyes
-The Snakes had a deadly poison
-Typhon created hurricanes by simply flapping his wings once
-Insane strength (throwing mountains)

If you fight him you're up against fire spam with hundreds of dragon heads and gigantic poisonous snakes coming at you from each direction. Pretty monstrous right?

Not bad, makes sense that he would be some powerful Zoan Fruit user. But it seems so unrealistic for One Piece IMO
-A man with fruit so powerful just doesn't add up.
--I mean the people considered his equals are no way that ridiculous ie. Shanks, WB and Big Mom.

I don't think Oda would make Kaido into a beast like that. If he does then he totally nerfed WB and he would have to juice up Shanks, BB and Big Mom

You think this devil fruit is insane? I guess you've completely forgotten about the Gura Gura no Mi which created Tsunamis several miles away as an effect of usage. One Punch pretty much annihilated the plaza. He's meant to be the strongest Zoan so as long as it's superior to Hito Hito no Mi Model Daibutsu and Marcos fruit presumably called the Tori Tori no Mi Model Phoenix , and yet inferior to the Gura Gura no Mi : I see no problem with it.

He will hold that much power. Think about it.
Sanji whom is pretty much on par with top tier Vice Admirals was neg diffed by Doflamingo. Doflamingo is scared of Admirals meaning that they'd most likely curbstomp him. Now considering a Yonkous first mate seems to be around Admiral tier: a Yonkou is superior.

If Sanji currently = 10
Zoro = 11
Luffy = 12
Doflamingo = 20
Admirals = 30
Yonkou = 35 +

A Yonkou is a frightening thing. A dying old man pretty much destroyed the Marines. Whitebeards Devil Fruit is clearly superior to Typhon. But Typhon fruit is pretty OP (Of course , he's supposed to have the strongest Zoan fruit possible.)

A water monster? You're kidding.... The Leviathan was of similar power to Typhon (if you compare the texts about them)...

Talk about OP. I could see this happening. Seen this theory plenty of times. But a nerfed version ofc because the real version is too OP.

Also i doubt he's the size of Oars. He would need one big ass ship and when Shanks came to stop him he could've just stomped his ship sinking all of them.

I'm leaning towards Kaido being the size of WB when transformed. Probably as big as BB in base form.

Btw Oda said he's introduce more Zoan-class species so i doubt/hope Kaido's fruit wont be of the human/Hito Hito class. I hope it's a whole new species.

Let's see how it goes. Words been around that he might have a Legendary Zoan (maybe this Typhon) . Or since he's called Hundred Beasts Kaido, he might have a Zoan DF which could give him multiple animal transformation and that of course into some strong animals.

I actually do agree with you,it makes sense but Oda likes to do things his own ways and sometimes he likes to take a funny aproach rather then a serious one.Or he might just choose something from the japanese mythology or w/e

That's why it's called a theory. Though sometimes they come true, partially or even the whole of it. But One does not simply predict Oda.

I'm not saying it's fact but I'm quite certain. There's a slim possibility that I'm wrong (like with every plausible theory ever made)
