Those are categories, not forms. There's a difference. Kaido wasn't stated to be the strongest at a certain thing, he said that overall, he is the strongest. The only thing that can dispute that is the manga itself. There is no "Maybe it could mean strongest in Haki." If that was the case, it would have been said.

Like I said different translations said different things. One said he was the strongest pirate and strongest man. Another called him the strongest of all things living and another called him the strongest creature.

Like I said, leler's point was that he is the strongest "blank" the manga does specify though and filled that "blank" with creature, living thing, man, and pirate depending on the translation.

Whitebeard was strongest man while Kaido is strongest creature and Mihawk is the strongest swordsman. Going off of hype alone you cant compare any of them because they are a different class of strength. Never saw any of them fight in their prime.

What is strong going to do to magma? Hey the rock is 275 lbs of pure muscle and can bench like 400 pounds. he's strong... im sure he can punch that lava away no problem. Shanks was shown to be the Haki master of the yonko up to now. If anything, he can combat Akainu better than any other Yonko until their feats show otherwise. If Kaido doesnt have better Haki than Akainu hes roasted and we eat Kaido ribs for dinner tonight.

BTW, this is coming from an Akainu hater, but i dont see any zoan in the OP world that can beat him right now.

To me, there's a difference between the "categories" of strongest and the "form of strongest." To say strongest has multiple forms means there's more than one way at being "stronger" than someone in one of those categories, which I don't believe is true. In my opinion, there is one way at being stronger than someone in a category: By being overall better than them. So while you may be inferior in individual subsections, like speed, strength, or intelligence, overall you are better so your chances of winning are greater.

Something like "Strongest Swordsman" and "Strongest Fishman" mean nothing in comparison to each other because they are independent, separate categories. Neither trump the other. Strongest Thing Alive, however, trumps every other category because they are all included within the category of "things." So Kaido's hype actually takes place over the hype of others until retconned.

Smh people are still in denial? The manga itself said "In a 1 vs 1, always bet on Kaido", so Kaido is definitely stronger than anyone alive. How is this even debateable?

No translation called him the strongest man.

The actual japanese name of his title, is translated into the following: "The strongest living thing", "the strongest biological", "the strongest organism".

Which is pretty much another way of saying the "Strongest man". So out of the known fighters whose powers are known to the world, his title makes him stronger than them, unless somebody outgrows his power.

The people who wouldn't logically be included in that title would be the Gorosei/Kong/Dragon/ potentially some mysterious leaders of the revolutionary army.

Shanks, Zombie Whitebeard, Big Mom, Akainu. There are your loopholes for all those hypes.
