thats just hype....still no info...what makes him the "strongest thing"?? why not the strongest man?? what are his abilities?? is he a a haki freak or an op devil fruit user?? like I said we have no info meaning a vs thread is beyond pointless.....for all we know he could have a devil fruit that is really weak to magma.....most likely not but still

But he kept whitebeard at bay and IMO even an old whitebeard was still the strongest human being.....meaning hype doesn't mean automatic win.....

Except strongest in what aspect? I could say Im the biggest person in the world if i was 10 feet tall and you would counter that youre the biggest because your waist is over 10 feet(sound familiar to you?)-- Its. all. Subjective. Is there a zoan that can tank magma spewing out of an 8 foot man at 1000 cubic feet per sec at temperatures like that? Akainu tanked 2 full powered hits from WB and came back wanting to fight more. Pretty sure the magma gives him the disadvantage. But again you dont consider match ups do you?

Yes there are, strongest swordsmen, strongest man, strongest creature/beast. That is what leler meant. Each translation seems to put it differently but I do agree that Oda was getting at the point that kaido is the strongest thing alive.

Those are categories, not forms. There's a difference. Kaido wasn't stated to be the strongest at a certain thing, he said that overall, he is the strongest. The only thing that can dispute that is the manga itself. There is no "Maybe it could mean strongest in Haki." If that was the case, it would have been said.

Whitebeard was strongest man while Kaido is strongest creature and Mihawk is the strongest swordsman. Going off of hype alone you cant compare any of them because they are a different class of strength. Never saw any of them fight in their prime.
What is strong going to do to magma? Hey the rock is 275 lbs of pure muscle and can bench like 400 pounds. he's strong... im sure he can punch that lava away no problem. Shanks was shown to be the Haki master of the yonko up to now. If anything, he can combat Akainu better than any other Yonko until their feats show otherwise. If Kaido doesnt have better Haki than Akainu hes roasted and we eat Kaido ribs for dinner tonight.
BTW, this is coming from an Akainu hater, but i dont see any zoan in the OP world that can beat him right now.

Like I said different translations said different things. One said he was the strongest pirate and strongest man. Another called him the strongest of all things living and another called him the strongest creature.
Like I said, leler's point was that he is the strongest "blank" the manga does specify though and filled that "blank" with creature, living thing, man, and pirate depending on the translation.
