[Discussion] Kaido can be defeated

In his introduction it stated that Kaido was defeated 7 times, so even though he is the strongest he can still be defeated. Now the question is who will he declare war on and who will stop him? If Sir Crocodile is able to touch him I think he can defeat Kaido or at least slow him down. What characters do you think can defeat Lord Kaido ?

Among pirates Shanks at this point is only option that can come closer to being able to defeat him.

He was defeated in the past by other yonkos but now that he is the strongest i think only one person can't stop him but it's still posibble to defeat him with an army

Not if his 7defeats happened when

1- He was a rookie
2- He was facing an army of powerful combattants

He is a pirate since 20years at least. Someone like Luffy already has more than 5defeats in his single year as a pirate and he'd be pirate king. It's through defeats that you learn, gain experience and become stronger and he was facing yonko and marines a lot of times and still survived, which shows his great combat experience

We know for a fact that he wants to die and has the personality to face huge armies without caring. It won't even surprise me if he faced Red Hair Pirates alone 2 years prior

The fact he mentioned WB during his introduction though seems to imply something happened between the 2, especially since he tried to target him before he faced the marines.

1- Maybe he just realized WB was the only one who could kill him
2- Maybe he wanted to participate the great war alongside him(to have better chance to die)

Depends if Kaido had that title 2years prior or not. If he did, maybe. If not, Shanks can't win by himself

Kaido just can't be killed, it doesn't matter how illogical it sounds, if the guy can't be robbed of his moister its because he doesn't need it to survive.

I don't think people even count them as defeats if he was defeated when he was too weak.

It's a bit odd to even assume that he just recently got that title. Besides Shanks is among those with greatest growth rates in the series. He's youngest top dog in the series so his growth rate should be above that of Kaido who looks much older than Shanks. So if Kaido has gotten stronger in these past two years than so would Shanks.

Shanks didn't took any help from his crew to go against Wb so I seriously doubt he would to face Kaido. And I don't think marines would be that surprised if it was a one against whole crew battle as Kaido doesn't stand a chance in hell against whole crew of Shanks.

The strongest isn't always the winner in a battle so it is possible for Shanks to win a a battle against him even if he's weaker. I am pretty sure Shanks has the highest probability of being able to seriously wound Kaido after Whitebeard.

I don't know from where you get this from but it's not that Kaido can't be killed. It's just that it's hard to kill him because it is near impossible to break his defense. He is not immortal or something. If he's a fruit user then he'll die for sure if you throw him in sea water.
