I don't think she looks bad maybe the new threat has something to do with why she was forming an army. I think Sasuke looks okay, not sure why Kishi doesn't make him use asura path for another arm. Seems like they nerfed Naruto fully.
Idk. Kaguya, even though a terrible character, had a pretty awesome design.
The new villain just doesn't look powerful or menacing. His horn just look like floppy ears.
I always imagined the final villain should also look the coolest. One more reason why I liked Madara and Obito a lot because they looked evil and menacing.
As for Sasuke, him being armless just makes him feel incomplete to me and nerfed like you said.

Well Shinju was said to have formed from the blood of countless individuals. Who's to say there wasn't a Shinju where Kaguya came from?
She obviously came to Naruto's world in search of Shinju, meaning she probably had knowledge of such a thing.
