This is a very short thread speculating on more Byakugan based techniques are to come. Just for reference another pretty similar thread to this was done some days ago by ♪-Esdeath- so you can jump to his/her thread before reading mine . Here

For the last two chapters we have seen the new villain Kaguya use three techniques :
1. her hair movements, 2. summoning a new alternate dimension and 3. a new punch thingie that cancelled out Naruto’s attack and slightly blew him away .
Since her first ,feat wise appearance ,we have seen that the Byakugan is her favourite way of using her chakra (if i can put it this way) because all this short time she is shown looking and searching for chakra like a “chakra hunter” (shown when a couple of times when she scans on Naruto and Sasuke at the beginning for having Ashura&Indra chakra and also shown when getting jealous about other people having chakra).
Now back to the topic, we know Hyuuga’s rely on chakra manipulation and almost pure chakra release. One of their midrange techs maybe even long range but only Hiashi has been shown to use long range on this (shown only on the Konoha history filler arc in the manga which is more than often useless to mention filler feats) but that is the same jutsuu Neji uses just on an extended reach.
The technique I’m talking about is Hakke Kusho or Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm. Neji is shown below using it on Kisame blowing him away,Kisame clutches Samehada into the ground to level the pressure and stops anyway.

And here is Kaguya using her punch technique on Naruto,her hand stance is not clearly visible but the way he is blown away is similar to Hakke Kusho.

Maybe, this is just simple chakra manipulation release just like Hyuuga’s techniques which are pretty straight forward. Kishi could be regretting degrading the Byakuugan since he hyped it so much on the beg. of part 1 and then only worked on the Sharingan. Probably trying to bring back some originality to the villain ?
Hopefully we’ll see some new improved original Byakuugan techniques instead of the usual Hagoromo related meteor busting, TSB , Bijuu powers.

Great catch there is undoubtedly some similarity but . here look how both Chiriku and Asuma have to take a stance to be able to use that jutsu.
