I am basing part of this theory on the japanese legend about Princess Kaguya and the Bamboo cutter. In this legend a Bamboo cutter finds a baby inside a magic bamboo shoot. This baby becomes a beatiful girl that everyone falls in love with even the emperor. What they dont know is that the girl is actualy from an alien race of people called the "Moon people". The Moon king send the girl down to Earth because the alien world got devastated in a celestial war. Other versions of the story tell that Kaguya was send to Earth for punishment.

What could this translate into Naruto's plot ?
Kaguya's origins are otherworldly, lol Space ninjas Kishi is a Dragonball fan so i wouldnt be surprissed if this turns out to be partly true
The celestial war on the Moon in the Bamboo cutter tale could very well mean a war on a distant planet in Naruto's version of the story.
Here comes the crazy part of this theory. The alien people who survived the war on their planet came down to the narutoworld-planet from the sky. The narutoworld was a lifeless piece of rock floathing in space. In order to breath life into the lifeless rock and make it like their home the space people planted a special seed that were to grow into a huge tree that producess natural energy and chakra. This plant thing was genetically engeneered and created by the space people,it would become the Juubi later.
When life started to evolve on the planet the aliens became the gods of man. The gods warned the people never to eat from the tree's fruits because they contained the trees life essense or otherwise known as chakra while the tree itself contained more natural energy. If chakra should be taken away from the tree the natural energy would overpower its instincts and turn it into a world destroyer.Like how Juugo gets overpowered by natural energy in his transformation.
Kaguya who was one of the alien people descendants didnt listen to that warning and ate the fruit regardless to gain power from it. As a result the tree got overloaded with natural energy and turned into a monster. Like in the Bamboo cutter tale Kaguya wasnt born a princess to begin with but the emperor took her for his wife and she became a princess later. Also she was chosen to consume the fruit because she was the only one who could use its power due to her heritage.
