Kaguya wanted white zetsu army to protect the earth and her children from Otsustuki clan.


In the manga black zetsu said kaguya was building white zetsu army:

But for what to protect herself? Kaguya said she is immortal:

If she is immortal then she don't need a white zetsu army to protect herself, meaning Kaguya wants protect something else.

In the manga Kaguya said about earth this place is my nursery I cannot let you damage it anymore

Meaning she deeply cares for earth, she wants to protect the earth.

In anime episode 462 after the battle when Hagoromo and Hamura sealed Kaguya, Kaguya's own son Hamura admits it our mother did all those things in order to protect us:

Now if we combine those 2 statements Kaguya wants white zetsu army to protect the earth and her children.

You can clearly see that Kaguya's true motivation was shown in both manga and anime.

And for who the white zetsu army Kaguya was building for was shown in Boruto movie and Boruto anime, it was for Momoshiki and Kinshiki and the entire Otsutsuki clan.

Kaguya is not evil and not a bad mother!!

It's not really relevant that she was immortal, the Otsutsuki clan members aren't allowed to kill each other anyways. They could steal her chakra, though, and then freeze her in time as punishment (like they did to Toneri.)

white zetsu are a front...no way an army of wz would kill an alien let alone an army of normal shinobis... only use they might have is scouting and report..... i can see wz as a front to weaken the earths natural energy , assuming aliens only target the healthiest planets first...but to put that energy into a vessel like wz could camouflage the earth... but like what her sons said she went alittle to far...

The white Zetsu army was for the entire Ootsutsuki clan. Afterall, Momoshiki and Kinshiki pale in comparison to her. However, it was not to protect her sons. She eventually tried to take back her chakra that had been split between her sons.

She may be immortal but her chakra could still be stolen and she can also be sealed. The Ootsutsuki clan as a whole could definitely pull it off together if not with several members. White Zetsus could be used to absorb chakra and transform. She either planned to have them swarm and absorb as much of their chakra as she could or she planned to have the Zetsus transform into her to make it harder for them to pinpoint which one is the real one.

I think it has something to do with the Otsutsuki draining planets of their chakra and leaving them barren. She fell in love and had kids on earth so she did what she thought was best. In the process she went insane from having too much power. Kaguya may be immortal. She still isn't dead and she is still very powerful.Naruto and Sasuke only had to touch her and look at all the trouble they went through. Good thing Sakura had their back.
