Kaguya's "dimensions"

Really, I didn't exactly get Kakashi's thoughts about the changing landscape. Is it really another dimension, meaning, a place that existed prior, where Kaguya just warps them too, or are they still in the real world and she is somehow altering the world around them? Or is it a Genjutsu after all?

I found that a bit confusing...

There must be a connection between the fact that Juubito (an incomplete Juubi Jin) couldn't travel through dimensions (remember, there is the possibility that he opposed Kaguya) and Madara (Juubi Jin) could travel to Kamui immediately, despite being an almost full Juubi Jin (Yang Kurama missing). In conclusion, these dimensions must be related somehow, as Obito's revival would be useless.
